Goucher College is excited to announce the opening of its new makerspace lab in Fall 2024, designed to be a hub of creativity and innovation for students, faculty, and the broader campus community. The space is located on the fourth floor of the Athenaeum, in Room 422.
The space comprises a collection of digital fabrication tools, an electronics lab, and an array of other tools and platforms.

Goucher College envisions this makerspace as a dynamic and evolving environment, with plans to expand its capabilities and offerings in the coming semesters, fostering a culture of innovation and hands-on learning across disciplines. This new makerspace lab not only enriches the academic experience but also provides a space where creativity meets technology, encouraging students to experiment, innovate, and develop practical skills that will serve them in various fields.
